Jared H. Truban is a partner in Owen and Truban, where he has been practicing law since 2003. His primary areas of focus include estate planning and administration, business entity formation, tax-exempt entity formation and planning, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and contract review and drafting. Before joining Owen and Truban, Jared practiced at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a member of the Personal Financial Services group, which focused on wealth and estate planning for high net worth individuals.

Jared graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 2001. Jared is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Taxation and Trust and Estates Sections of the Virginia State Bar, and the Winchester-Frederick County Bar Association. Jared graduated from James Madison University in 1998, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Major in Accounting. Jared was previously licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Blue Ridge Hospice.  He is also an Eagle Scout.

Jared currently lives in Winchester with his wife, Erica, and five children. He was raised in Winchester, Virginia, graduating from John Handley High School. Jared is the son of John W. Truban and the nephew of Bill Truban.
